Radio Jammers
Radio Jammers are vehicle mounted electronic countermeasures used by Bomb Squad and Bomb Detection EOD technicians. With an even distribution of radio jamming interference, these advanced systems are equipped with digital control processors to neutralize IEDs triggered by a radio detonator.
When there is a bomb threat and the police bomb disposal unit is called in, the threat of remote controlled detonation is now met with the use of Radio Jammers. If an ambush is going to take place, responders are now able to deal with a remote controlled IED when they arrive on site.
Should bomb detection teams be the target while they are en-route to the scene of a crime or bomb threat, then this type of ambush can also be dealt with. Our Radio Jammers employ a digitally controlled form of barrage jamming interlaced with spot jamming. This enables the saturation of a multitude of frequency bands with radio interference.
Because the interference overpowers those radio receivers, their ability to receive a detonation signal is greatly reduced.
