IED Jammer Workshop

An in-depth Workshop on combating Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices using IED Jamming technologies & IED Jammers from HSS

Because War is now comprised of terrorist groups and insurgents who do not wear military uniforms (compared to identifiable soldiers of armies wearing military uniforms), terrorist tactics employed are an increasing form of warfare, causing death, destruction, and fear.

Terrorism is not the enemy, but the form of warfare used by an enemy.

Sometimes this may seem unclear, yet the goal of terrorism is clear:
to conduct war using non-conventional methods.

IED weapons used by terrorists are now, more than ever, having a serious impact when terrorists and insurgents target military forces and civilian populations. IED weapons are, in essence, the primary terrorist weaponry adopted to attack soldiers, checkpoints, convoys, diplomats, and even civilian populations. Specifically, IED weapons of choice involve attacks by Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices or RCIEDs.

Seminar Origin
The need for a seminar on IED Jammer technology stems from the destructive nature of RCIEDs or Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices.

The war on terror (or the tactics used by those who commit terror) resemble the Guerilla Warfare techniques seen in Vietnam: striking out at ones enemy and with low-intensity reprisal or confrontation. What better way to strike at ones enemy than by remote controlled weapons, specifically using Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices when conducting:

• insurgent attacks on government and diplomatic personnel
• terrorist attacks on law enforcement and civilians
• terrorist assassinations
