Bomb Detectors such as the CCX 1335 hand-held explosive vapor detector are capable of detecting trace amounts of explosives. The CCX 1335 bomb detector is used to screen people, luggage, cargo, vehicles, and buildings.

The CCX 1335 operating principle is based on absorption of vapors from an explosive. The vacuum opening must be close to the object it is testing. The nozzle is opened and moved across the object. The unit then draws any vapors into the hermetically sealed chamber. If explosive vapors are detected the unit alerts the user with both audible and visual signals.

The CCX 1335 Detector will seek out and alert the presence of known explosives that include: Ammonium nitrate, dynamite, semtex, C4, HMX, PETN, RDX, TNT.

The Portable Explosive Vapor Detector CCX 1335 developed by CCS, has been examined in a state program for fighting terrorism with the supervision of the Office of Homeland Defense, Police and Coast Guard department, air safety and customs.

During the Research and Development of the CCX 1335 special attention was given to the unit’s ability for quick and reliable detection as well as ease of operation, maintenance, and continuous field operation.

The distinctive feature of CCX 1335 is its ability to pass received data to an auxiliary PC through its built in RS-232 COM connector.

The CCX 1335 is the most sensitive detector on market. Features Include:

• Portable weight with battery 2.0 kg.

• Easy to read LCD Display

• Detection in Real Time.

• Has been successfully tested for use by airline, railways, corporate offices, banks, small business owners, and transport vehicle managers
