The Bomb Jammer ™ is an IED Jammer that saturates the area with electromagnetic energy in order to neutralize an IED that is activated by remote control. This IED Jammer works by preventing radio signals from reaching the radio receiver used to detonate an IED.
Because the IED Jammer can broadcast RF Jamming interference on multiple frequencies simultaneously, all known threats can be addressed. The Bomb Jammer ™ IED Jammers were not designed to detonate an IED that is built to trigger by radio control such as an RCIED.
In addition, the IED Jammer was not designed to break the squelch of a radio such as a walkie talkie and therefore gives the operator an increased level of security when using the IED Jammer. The IED Jammer was only designed to jam using electromagnetic energy and not detonate a remote controlled IED or RCIED.
